Recorded 7 Tele parts using the Pod 2.0 and the Tascam.
Normalised/audio cleanup in AA3 and inserted in the relevant project file in CE5.
Had difficulty coming up with chords for some of the sections of the song (what with my basic inability to play guitar’n’all), but I found some melodic alternatives which work rather well. Rather pleased with it, actually (but not in a smug, self-satisfied sort of way…).
Of course, it is not at all as punk-y/thrash-y as I thought it might be, but no harm in that, perhaps…;-).
More tracking tomorrow.

Busy day in the real world today, so I just had time to quickly record 9 Jazz Bass parts using the Bass Pod XT and the Tascam.
Two of the parts were lengthy “jams”, if you will, of repetitive elements (thumb snaps etc.), which may or may not make the final mix.
Normalised/audio cleanup in AA3 and inserted into the relevant CE5 project file. Put together a rough mix for future tracking, which I hope to be able to do on Monday morning.
The track will a thrashy, punky feel about it (hopefully…).
